I was at the Canberra rally and impressed by how well it was organised. I would like to get in touch with the Aboriginal man who spoke last in front of old Parliament House. Could you tell me who he was, and, if possible, contact details for him.
Thank you
Apologies for the delay in resonding. The Welcome to country was done by Uncle Pat Locke and the younger Roxley Foley both of whom can often be found at the Aboriginal Tent Embassy
I live in an area in Western Australia and whether or not we believe in climate change and its causes, natural or otherwise. we have the end result, less rain, less water and increasing consumption.
Efforts to encourage reducing the commercial and agricultural consumption are generally ignored, other than the long-suffering public are being encouraged to “turn off their taps when they brush their teeth to save a million litres a year”.
Climate change activists are heard and my plea to you is to add this issue to your protestations.
